Anti-Freeze Check

You should check your fluid every few months. Make sure the car is nice and cool before you do this if you don’t you could get burnt. Make sure you check and make sure your fluid is at the right level. The container should have a mark on it to show you where it’s at. Some cars are different than others and you may have to check it in a different spot. Most of the newer cars you can look under the hood and see a plastic container (its kind of see threw) its most likely to be on the right hand side of the car. Like shown in the picture above. If you see that it is turning brown you should drain it and refill it with new anti-freeze.

What happens if you don’t change the anti-freeze?

If the rust inhibitors stop working, the cooling system will rust from the inside out. The biggest source of rust in a car's cooling system is the engine block. In time, these bits of rust will also clog the tiny passages within the radiator and heater, causing your engine to overheat. When an engine overheats, the result is a bonus yacht payment to your mechanic that someone else should be making.
This should help you out a little bit if you have any question ask.
